Section Straightening Machine The straightening machines are used for straightening rolled steel sections such as angle, channels, rounds, beams etc. Salient features of these machines are:
• Made up of steel fabricated M. S. plates of amply thickness.
• Contains sufficient rolls of Adamite containing anti friction roller bearings.
• In built reduction gear box.

Automatic De-coiling Straightening MAIN BODY FABRICATED ON A STEEL STRUCTURE
Complete Automatic Unit of De-coiling Straightening and cutting machine of Bars from 6-12 mm is fixed on Steel fabricated Rigid Frame, consisting of the following sub- assemblies:
1. Vertical Entry Roll Station: After De-coiling, the Wire Rod passes through a set of 3 Vertical rolls & preliminary Straightening operation is performed.
2. Feeding Pinch Roll: Before Main Straightening Station.
3. Horizontal Roll Straightening Station: There are three Bottom Rolls with fixed level and Two Rolls on the top with adjustable level through manual pressure screws. Straightening Roll shafts are supported on antifriction bearings. The rolls are idle.
4. Vertical Roll Straightening Station: After Horizontal Roll Straightening Section, the Wire Rod passes through 5-Vertical Roll Straightening Sections. Three rolls are fixed type and two are adjustable through pressure screw to affect Straightening of the wire rod in the lateral direction. Roll shafts are mounted on the anti-friction bearings. The rolls are idle and without a drive.
5. Pinch Roll: (After Straightening Work Stations) Horizontal Pinch roll is installed after Horizontal Vertical Straightening work stations to pull the wire rod. Vertical roll is adjustable with pressure screws.
6. Shearing Press: Fabricated steel body down cut type shearing machine provided with a pneumatic clutch. It has an independent 3 H.P. motor and magnet.
B. MAIN DRIVE:
The Machine is driven by 20 H.P., 960 RPM, 440 volts A.C. Electric Motor coupled with 5 Speed Gearbox. The Gearbox is further coupled with Bevel Gears of Feeding & Finishing Pinch Rolls, through Sprocket and Chain mechanism. Horizontal Rolls are Straightening Rolls and Vertical Straightening Rolls are idle Rolls.
C. WIRE ROD RECEIVING STATION {THIRTEEN (13) MTRS. LONG}
Straightening Wire Rod is received in Steel fabricated Guide way. The receiving station is equipped with a proximity switch to give signal to the shear for cutting the specified length. After the Wire Rod has been cut to the specific length, it is dropped down by a pneumatic kick-off arrangement. Motor required is of 2 H.P.
