I feel very rejoice to issue companies 3rd catalogue and during this time structure of the company has changed a lot. The base to inaugurate this company started in 1971, when initial focus was trading of raw material and finished products and it was further diversified when we started dealing in trading of steel mill plant and machines in 1981. As the inputs of the order was more than expected and customers trust was increasing, we decided to come up with our own manufacturing unit in 1993 with limited machines and administration staff and with no certifications and recognitions, but with a vision of serving Rolling Mill industry and to give the best quality products to the customers.

With the passage of time, co. expanded and moved manifold ahead in improving quality and reducing delivery period. SMT has now 3 manufacturing units with more than 175 machines precision, and over 300 Qualified Workers and staff members, providing you the best products and after sales services. SMT also have number of registered vendors who are regularly contributing in delivering the products in time.

I feel proud to say SMT has always given more than the expected results and to support the increasing customers demand; co's technology being regularly upgraded through R&D department.

Aman Mittal, The Director Exports has a vast experience in executing overseas projects. He has done successful erection and commissioning of SUDAN'S Government Project, where company supplied Rolling Mill, Tube Mill, and Induction Melting Furnace and also done the modification of exiting Sick Plant. Supplied by Chinese. He spent 2 complete years in Sudan.

Recent project executed by him in Zambia is the 'Marked Achievement' of SMT where we have supplied automatic TMT Bar and Wire Rod Rolling Mill & Section Mill, on Turnkey Basis i.e. from Concept to commissioning. Currently, he is executing Nigerian Project of 2 Section Mills. Bar Mill and TMT Bar and Wire Rod Mill.

We are strategically located at G.T. Road (Near Industrial Focal Point), Mandi Gobindgarh, the steel city of Punjab (India). The industrial area consists of maximum number of Steel Producing Mills in Asia. It is almost equidistant (60 km) from Ludhiana, Ambala and Chandigarh. The location on GT Road connecting New Delhi and Amritsar makes the company easily accessible from different parts of the country.
